Almost two weeks ago I invited you to find an awesome name for the Mistfall, Heart of the Mists, and Shadowscape universe. The backers of the Shadowscape Kickstarter compaign have provided many excellent ideas. Finally the time has come to reveal the name we’ve chosen – and give out a few copies of Heart of the Mists.
Although Shadowscape’s Kickstarter campaign is not over yet, some of the backers of our previous Kickstarter have already received early copies of the game. This resulted in a very lucky occurence: we can show you a set of photos of actual Shadowscape, all by the amazingly talented Doctor Meeple.
The title of this post is not entirely truthful, as it would be a lie to say that the games we design and/or publish are completely solvable. Randomness is there, but the way we implement it is an element of a specific design philosophy… and of our personal tastes.
